Squint Correction
- Squint is also called strabismus where the eyes point in different directions.
- Occurs particularly in young children but may also occur in adults.
- The eyes may point inwards or outwards or also in different directions.
- It can be associated with impaired vision, double vision, decreased depth perception , eye strain or headache.
Causes:
- Congenital (since birth)
- Hypermetropia
- Childhood illnesses
- Nerve damage etc.
Treatment can be done by:
Glasses, eye exercises, surgery, injections.
